Do you have work from home essentials you can’t live without?
When you’re working from home (especially when you’re just starting out in a home business) it can be hard to justify spending out on equipment for work. But sometimes it’s money well spent, if it makes your life that bit easier!
We have a few things in the Wickfree household we can’t imagine living without!
So here’s our top 4 work from home essentials! In no particular order…
A GREAT Notepad and Pen Set.
OK, so most of us mainly type into our computers. But when you’re brain-dumping ideas, or taking notes from a call, a good quality notepad and pen can be a worthwhile investment.
We absolutely love Paperchase for notebooks and diaries – there’s an awesome collection of designs, sizes and paper types whether you prefer to write on lined, squared or dotted sheets!
Investing in a good quality pen is a good idea, as it will be more ergonomical and reduce the risk of your hand cramping up – plus it’s less likely to have issues with ink flow. How many times have you been on the phone scrabbling about for a pen that writes?!
Parker Pens are popular for a reason. They’ve been in the business for more than 130 years, and their pens will last you a lifetime.
Alexa (Echo Dot)
This is a bit of a luxury, but we couldn’t live without our little AI powered voice assistant!
We got our Echo Dot direct from Amazon. Google also have Google Assistant if you prefer, and they’re available from selection of retailers.
As well as being a handy form of entertainment with the ability to play radio stations from around the world, or hook up to Spotify to play your favourite songs, these nifty gadgets can help you with your work in a number of other ways including hands-free internet searches, spell-checking, currency-conversions and loads more!
Coffee!
This might be self explanatory…!
Splashing out on good quality coffee makes a huge difference – and has converted many a person who claims they don’t like the tase of coffee!
Even better, you can now get coffee subscriptions where your favourite beans or ground coffee is delivered to you in the comfort of your own home, so you never have to worry about (yikes) running out!
