Scentsy Candles UK: A New Kind of Scented Candle
Scentsy has always been about home fragrance without a flame. For over fifteen years, the electric wax warmer has been the heart of what we do. Now Scentsy has added candles to the range, and they have done it differently. Scentsy Candles are beautifully crafted scented candles made from a premium wax blend, hand-poured, and designed with the same attention to fragrance quality that defines every Scentsy product. I’m Alexandra Watson, and along with my husband Scott I have been an independent Scentsy Consultant since April 2011, when we became the very first Scentsy Consultants in the UK and Europe. If you love candles alongside your wax warmer, this new range is worth knowing about.
The current Scentsy Candle range includes four fragrances: Luna, Clothesline, Amazon Rain and Petals and Peaches. Each candle uses the same IFRA-compliant fragrance oils that go into Scentsy’s wax bars, which means the fragrance quality is exceptional. If you already love a Scentsy fragrance in wax form, the candle version of that scent will be immediately familiar.
What Makes a Scentsy Candle Different?
Scentsy approached candle-making the same way they approach everything: with fragrance at the centre of every decision. A cheap candle puts fragrance oil in an afterthought. A Scentsy candle is built around it.
- Premium wax blend. Scentsy candles use a carefully formulated wax blend optimised for fragrance throw and clean burning. The wax is designed to distribute heat evenly for a consistent melt pool and maximum scent release throughout the life of the candle.
- IFRA-compliant fragrance oils. The same fragrance oils used in Scentsy wax bars, formulated to the International Fragrance Association’s safety standards and free from phthalates.
- Cotton wick. A clean-burning cotton wick reduces soot and smoke compared to zinc-core wicks common in lower-quality candles.
- Familiar fragrances. The candle fragrances are drawn from the Scentsy fragrance catalogue. If you love a Scentsy scent in wax bar form, the candle version will feel immediately right.

Wax Melts vs Candles: Which Is Right for You?
If you are deciding between Scentsy’s candles and their wax melt range, here is the honest comparison. Scentsy fragrance bars give between 40 and 100 hours of home fragrance per bar at £8, with no flame and no fire risk. A Scentsy Candle is a beautiful, classic experience with a real flame and a familiar aesthetic, but with a shorter total fragrance life. If safety and longevity are your priorities, wax melts win. If you love the ritual of lighting a candle and want Scentsy’s fragrance quality in that format, the Scentsy Candle range delivers it properly.
