Do you feel like you’re juggling too much at the moment? Like there just aren’t enough hours in the day? Then enjoy this simple Time Management Tools – 3 Tips.
Getting in to the habit of implementing some time management skills and tips can really help you get more organised and supercharge your productivity! The more of these tools you learn to use, the more you can get done each day.
These three basic time management habits have changed our life – they may seem obvious but they’re often overlooked!
Prepare In Advance
Prepare your work or to-do list for the following day the evening before. When you plan your day the night before, one theory is that your subconscious then goes to work on your plans and goals while you’re asleep!
Making a daily list the night before can help you sleep more soundly. A major reason for insomnia is lying awake stressing about remembering everything you have to do the following day!
Schedule Your Time
Scheduling your time reduces stress, can help give you a feeling of control. This can also help boost mood and productivity throughout your day. You’ll feel in charge of your life, and a rise in self-esteem!
Whether you prefer paper or digital there’s a method for you. Paper lovers – why not try a basic page a day diary, or a bullet journal? Buy an attractive one that encourages you to write in it! Or maybe you prefer a digital format – there are a whole host of apps out there, or use the built in calendar or reminder apps on your phone or computer.
We love Google Calendar – it’s simple to use, and syncs across all of your devices!
To increase productivity, start your day early. The more time you take to sit, think, and plan, the better organised you will be in every area of your life.

Aside from this we have 3 top Time Saving Tips:
• Meal plan and batch cook – it may seem like a hassle initially but you’ll be glad of it when you’ve come home from a crazy day and just have to pop your dinner in the oven!
• Use spare 5 minute ‘time pockets’ during the day where you’d otherwise just be doing nothing – these minutes can add up! While you’re boiling the kettle, wash up some of the dishes or empty the dishwasher, or when the commercials come on during your favourite show, get up and throw on a laundry load! It’s honestly amazing what you can do in 5 minutes.
• Lay out what you need the night before. For example your outfits, packed lunches or snacks, water bottles, homework that needs popped into schoolbags, your gym kit if you have a class to go to before…the list goes on. You’ll save a huge amount of time in the morning spending 5-10 minutes doing this the evening before!
