Day Three – Scentsy Visits Florence & Pisa
Hello again – well the time was flying on the boat and we arrived in the port of La Spezia, Italy ready to visit Florence and Pisa. First off though i had to make a rotten joke for the You Tube vlog (see below) and show off our fab cruise wear from Scentsy. After another yummy breakfast with fresh fruit and eggs in al forms we were on the bus and off to Pisa, Scott has been there before and said it wasnt very good! He soon ate his words as we rounded to corner of the street to see this incredible leaning bell tower.
The next hour was taken up with many photocalls with various friends and team members. For the team picture we had to literally stop the traffic in the street and snap away – but the Italians seemed to take it in good humour. I had chance to buy a fridge magnet for my Scentsy world tour display and then we were off again to Florence or Firenze as the Italians call it. Florence was the seat of the reformation and the De Medici family and full of ancient art so i was very excited to be going there.
We only had a few hours with Scentsy in Firenze but we visited the famous Michelangelo David sculpture, the Ponte Vecchio, the Dumo and Dante’s house in that short time. We may not have been in Florence long but Scott has vowed to take me back there so we can really see the city. We also want to visit Pisa again as there is far more to the town that just the Field of Miracles and Leaning Tower of Pisa. We then went back to the boat and sailed for Rome and our last trip of the holiday.
