NO! Scentsy Wax Warmers work using electricity. You plug in the wire to your warmer base, click the on button and away you go. The warmer has an electric plate on the top, just under where you place the lid, and this heats up to just 56 deg c ready to melt your Scented Candle Bar. Our beautiful handcrafted ceramic warmers are low voltage so they use minimal electric to work.
