1. Our wax is edible! Yes Scentsy makes its Wax Melts from food grade wax, the same wax the food industry use it for shining fruit and sealing cheese – nom nom!
2. If accidentally eaten Scentsy wax is 100% safe. In fact we once ate it – yes the peppermint rush bar smells like After Eight mints and tasted minty too!!
3. We make Scentsy Wax Melts from food grade paraffin wax. We use it because it reaches melting point at a very low temperature, so you don’t need a candle to burn it! Is paraffin wax harmful? 4. In a Scentsy warmer the wax heats to just above body temperature, about 56 Deg C. Thats a huge temperature difference to candles which burn at 1500 Deg c!
5. These low temperatures mean our wax will not evaporate in a Scentsy warmer
6. A lack of evaporation means no wax particles are released or breathed in
7. No evaporation means you only breathe the fragrance oils

14. When used in a Scentsy Wax Warmer our wax bars will fragrance for 8- 10hrs per cube. Personally i find that estimate on the very low side…i get over 24 hours from one fruity cube and if using a heavy woods fragrance 3 plus days. Furthermore, I find one bar of eight cubes will last me three times longer than a well known jar candle would (and they do 100 hours).
15. Our wax bars hold 8 cubes at £7.25 a bar that works out at just 90p a cube or 9p per hour!

And finally, our wax is reusable! Simply pour back into the packet and swap and change your fragrance over and over before the scent is finished. However I personally never reuse the wax. It’s so cheap to buy with our combine and save packs so I don’t need to be a stingy anymore!
