The Wickfree Family Go Down Under
In just a few short weeks Scentsy Leaders ,the Wickfree Family, are taking another trip to Australia and New Zealand to meet up with many of our amazing Emerald All Stars team members. We are looking forward to trying some skiing in Queenstown, on New Zealand’s South Island, chilling out in our very own rented beach home in the Coromandel and wine tasting in the Hunter Valley, Australia. What is most exciting is that this time we get to take our daughter along with us to experience life ‘
Our trip will start in Sydney where we are excited to take our little lady to see the Taraong Zoo in Sydney Harbour to see Kangaroos, Koala Bears and her favourite elephants. We cant wait to do lunch with Scentsy friends in the Botanic Gardens and then recreate one of our favourite trip pictures by the Sydney Harbour and Opera House with Theia this time. After just a few days we are off to have some great fun with a group of Scentsy consultants in Canberra, visiting the world-famous arboretum and having a private tour of the parliament buildings from one of our own teamies who works there! We will finish our stay by taking in the stunning Port Stephens area on the coast, some beach bbq’s and wine tasting with more wonderful friends and colleagues.
Next on the Wickfree’s Down Under Tour is the South Island of New Zealand where we visiting Christchurch and then on to a french style village called Akaora in an old volcano. We will be travelling down the coast to meet with many Scentsy consultants in Timaru, Oamaru, Dunedin and finally take a break at the bottom of the world – Invercargill. Personally i cant wait to take a boat trip on the stunning Milford Sound and then take on some skiing in Queenstown. This will probably be Theia’s first real taste of snow as well so we are excited to take her sledging. No trip to the South Island is COmplete without seeing Mount Cook.
In the North Island we will be visiting many places we have been before including Wellington, Rotarua, Palmerston North and Auckland. It is so fun having Scentsy consultants in all those places because its like visiting with family everytime. We wanted to take some time to relaxing as a family as well after a hectic few years of work so we are staying in a beach bach in Whangamata on the Coromandel. Here Scott is going out sea fishing and i am hoping to take Theia for her first swimming lessons, and try a spot of paddle boarding myself (if i can balance!). We are promised, by a few of our Māori Scentsy Consultants, that they will be taking us to enjoy some more traditional Hangis, and i cant wait to learn more about this amazing culture.
