I took a leap of faith & set up my own home business – will you?
I was walking the dog (lil) on the beach in the snow (a first time for everything) and wondering why so many people we send out recruiting packs to don’t join Scentsy. I felt frustrated because I know what an awesome home business this is and how much Scott and I have gained from it. I want other people to see the opportunity to make money, friends and have fun in a pressure free and flexible way. Then i reflected back nearly two years to when we joined Scentsy and i realised – we are not asking people to join a business we are asking them to take a huge leap of faith…
We are asking people to take a leap of faith that Scentsy is the exciting, caring and generous company we claim and to believe that everyone (eventually) will want to buy a Scentsy warmer or three for their house. Secondly we are asking people to take a leap of faith on us as sponsors, to believe that we will train and support them every step of the way with thier business and not just treat them as a number in our team. And finally they will need to take a leap of faith on themselves – to believe that they really can run thier own home business. It takes real guts to step outside your compfort zone, try something different and learn new skills. So it no wonder so many people find it hard to take such a leap.
I know of over 1500 people in europe who have taken those huge leaps of faith (not all of them joined our team ;-). And they are all growing as people, learning new skills and running succesful home candle businesses. As Neale Donald Walsch said ‘Life begins at the end of your comfort zone’ – and it’s true.
